I love Jamie Ridler’s idea of wishcrafting. When is the last time I stopped to really wish for something? Like most women, while trying to strike some semblance of balance while wearing many hats (wife, mother, career professional), what I truly long for are more stretches of time for myself to CREATE and feel inspired. To write in my journal, play with collage, have tea in an ambient space, explore a new art technique, browse a stationery store (I have a sort of paper fetish!), or slowly savor pages of a travel magazine. Perhaps slip in a yoga class, walk in the fall leaves, and carve out peaceful moments amidst the (happy) chaos.
What is your wish?
Very nice post Starry, I love your blog name and your seashell in your journal! xx

My wish – my deepest desire – is to spend all day creating. Painting. Marketing my work. Marketing other artists’ work. Every day is a blessing towards achieving that desire! I’m glad you posted this – thank you!

Wonderful post Tracy. It’s so true as a woman we wear so many different hats but often forget to take those many hats off and make the time needed for our creative self to explore and have fun. Well said.

I wish for so many things. To make a living doing something I’m passionate about, to live in a small quaint town by the water, to feel like I belong and find my place ❤

Hello! I am new to blog etiquette. I apologize for not replying sooner. Couch chats with tea are the best, especially in chilly winter to find soul nourishment! Thank you for stopping by!

A lovely set of wishes! As you wish for yourself, I wish for you too!
P.S. I too have a paper fetish! Blank journals, pens and pretty papers hold such creative promise don’t they?
